Our Vision: We desire to serve our Lord and grow closer to Him through our singing, playing, writing, and by leading the service, while sharing an intimate worship experience with the congregation of Liberty.

Scripture:

Psalm 28:7, “The Lord is my strength, my shield from every danger.  I trust in Him with all my heart.  He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.  I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.”

Psalm 104:33, “I will sing to the Lord as long as I live.  I will praise my God to my last breath!”

The Liberty Praise Team was formed in March of 2000, when Liberty began a contemporary praise and worship service.

The material we incorporate into our worship service is taken from a variety of Christian artists and groups, as well as hymns, on occasion.  We are also fortunate to be able to integrate original material that was written by Praise Team members over the years.

Current members include:

Greg Groves— vocals and writing

Alan James— drums, vocals, and writing

Mike Mason—piano, Hammond B-3 organ, keyboards, and vocals

Terry Reich—lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and writing

John Watkins—bass guitar and vocals

The praise team leads worship at the 8:30 service every Sunday.  We invite you to come and worship with our congregation and share in the love of Christ.
