October Worship to Continue Existing Pattern for Indoor/Outdoor Services

In response to the ongoing pandemic and to the various caution individuals are taking in their personal activities, we are continuing to offer a variety of indoor and outdoor worship settings for the month of October. On the weeks that we are having worship in the sanctuary, please call or e-mail the office by Thursdays at 5:00 p.m. and let us know you are planning on attending. We would also be glad to put you on a “standing reservation” list so that you would only have to call us if you are not coming. We remind all that if you are feeling ill or if you have been in close contact with a known COVID-positive person within the last 14 days, please honor your brothers and sisters by worshiping from home via our livestream. Our services for October are:

  • October 4 – Worship & Communion on the Ball Field – 8:30 a.m. (one service only)
  • October 11 – Worship & Communion in the Sanctuary – 8:45 a.m. Contemporary & 11:00 a.m. Traditional (Please make reservations)
  • October 18 – Worship & Charge Conference – 8:30 a.m. (one service only) – Rev. Craig Hutto, North Central District Superintendent, will lead brief business meeting and preach for the service. (The rainout plan for this service will be to stream a simple service later in the morning and reschedule the conference because the Sanctuary will be having new flooring installed and will be unavailable for use.)
  • October 25 – Worship in the Sanctuary – 8:45 a.m. Contemporary & 11:00 a.m. Traditional (Please make reservations)

Church Opening to Activities Beyond Worship as Safety Protocols Continue

Our church is now open to activities beyond Sunday morning worship. All of our safety protocols remain in place (such as six foot social distancing and wearing masks), but we are now offering individual ministry areas and their leaders to carefully plan for activities that might be held on the church campus or even elsewhere. Our prayer is that we will continue to care for one another and each other’s safety as we consider how we can continue to return some programming and meetings to in-person events.

“Promises” Women’s Bible Study Resuming October 7

Children’s Church Returning to Weekly Program in October

We will be having children’s church each Sunday now beginning in October. Please let the church office or Pam know if your child(ren) will be participating. Pam will meet the children outside the kitchen door before the service and take the participants to the children’s department.

Online Giving Option Now Available

A new option is now available for making donations to the church through our web site. You can use a credit or debit card as well as direct drafts from your checking or savings account to the church. Visit our web site at and click the link to the “giving portal” and you will see options to make a one-time gift or set up recurring automatic payments. Of course we continue to accept checks and cash in worship or at the office during the week as well. Thank you for continuing to remember your vow to give to Christ’s kingdom work through the Liberty family.
